A foreign-currency wire still includes Citi's conversion commission in the exchange rate. Standard customers have a $50,000 online foreign-currency transaction limit; higher tiers can have limits up to $500,000 equivalent.
Citibank US timing and overseas card use
Citi says international wires submitted before 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time are generally sent the same business day. Recipient crediting can take longer because of intermediary banks, local banking hours and compliance checks.
Selected Citi cards waive foreign transaction fees, but this is not universal. Citi World Wallet foreign cash uses a separate exchange rate that includes a conversion commission.
